We each have our own studios. The Nashville Collective is what happens inside them — live tracking, no headphones, no click, and a co-production model. Country, rock, soul, pop, strings, or roots — the band takes whatever form the record needs, a full room of Nashville players who can cut anything, the way this town's landmark rooms always have. Co-founded by Chris Sharp and Matt Combs.

From there we make the whole record: arrangements, strings, background vocals, a rhythm section that sits right, a mix with real polish. Raw when the song wants raw, radio-ready when it wants that. Matt writes and plays the strings; the room takes care of the rest.
